Happy 秋分の日! (Autumnal Equinox Day!)
The Autumnal Equinox is a national public holiday in Japan! That means if you live in Japan, you probably didn’t have to work today. Lucky you. But for the rest of us, I guess we will just learn these kanji and get back to our regularly scheduled days. The kanji were pretty hard this week with a lot of double digit stroke counts and some that were hard to tell apart. How did you do?
Week 19: From “Blessing” to “Luggage”
Did you try to quiz yourself? How many did you get right?
If you’re struggling with learning each and every day, try adding the kanji to your drills in Nihongo Master. With customized drills, your kanji will keep popping back up every so often to make sure you haven’t forgotten what you already learned!
Another great trick is to use the printable practice sheets! Writing is proven to help memory, and you can learn stroke order and cement kanji in your memory at the same time! Hooray!
Still having trouble remembering all the kanji each week? Subscribe to the Kanji Challenge email where you will receive FREE PRINTABLE FLASHCARDS!! These aren’t available anywhere else on the site, so make sure you join the list to get access.
