What's Your Learning Level?

Hey, Mew here!

こんにちは! Mew です!

よろしくおねがいします!

Glad to see that everyone's speeding through their drills and quizzes so far ^.^!  Those rankings can be unexpected, ne?

As you can see, there's currently mostly beginner stuff right now, but we're looking to change that as quickly as possible.  To start getting a better picture of your needs as Japanese learners and prioritize content accordingly, we'd like to know what your experience is with learning Japanese such as your level and why you're learning the language.

Thanks for all of your feedback!

Know someone who might be able to answer this question?

こにんにちはみなさん、ドリアンと言います。どうすぞよろしくおねがいします。二月から大学に日本語を勉強していました。でも、まだ日本語にそんなに上手でわありませんです。でも、いつもがんばります!

As for why I'm learning - I intendtime move to Japan tofork after I've graduated, and decided that a smattering of Japanese could hardly go amiss.

Hey! My name is Ryan. I'm a second year student at Junior High. I live in Australia. I am a beginner at Japanese.

I am learning Japanese at school, and enjoy doing so. I want to continue learning it, as I want to teach it.

PS. I don't know how much of the above is correct. I don't think the last sentence is.

Hi! I'm Sophie. I live in Germany and I've been studying Japanese (mostly on my own) for about a year. I have Japanese lessons once a week, and the rest of the time I study by myself. In the beginning, I started learning Japanese mostly so I'd be able to read manga, but now I just really love the language and enjoy learning more and more each day :)

マークです。I started listening to Japanese music a bit over a year ago and quickly found myself with a very large, new interest. From there I learned more about Japan, its people, and its culture and well… became fascinated. I decided to try learning the language mainly so that I could understand lyrics and writings about music, but also as a mental exercise since I've never learned a second language. So far I have a decent grasp of the kana and bits & pieces of grammar and vocabulary, but I think a more structured approach will serve me much better. 頑張るぞ!
