My computer has stopped showing Japanese characters during the drills. Does anyone know how to fix it??

This only happenes when the Japanese word is on top and only words. It will show me just one character where options are like: Ta Ka Gi To. And it will let me see them when it's an English vocab word and Japanese answers. (Not the other way around.)

Know someone who might be able to answer this question?

First of all, Ta, Ka, Gi, and To are all spelled using one character. Nihongo uses one character for each syllable in the language(with the execption of n/m), which is why there are so many to memorize.

Ta = た

Ka = か

Gi = ぎ

To = と

If you are experiencing poor browser rendering, I would suggest upgrading your Web browser. I'm using the latest version of Firefox and everything runs smoothly. You can download a free copy here: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

I would also highly recommend using the Japanese IME. It enables you to type にほんご using your english keyboard! It's invaluable for using the site-dictionary, and alot of fun for messing around with your friends ;)

These links links will get you started with the IME:

Follow these steps and you should be good to go!
