Can't catch up! Too many drills D:

Hi everyone,

I recently started a job with a bigger commuting time than I've had before. I no longer have time to do any Japanese drills in the weekday! Now when I finally get to it on Saturday, I have 650. By the time I manage to get half way through these drills, it's Monday again, so I can't even clear my drills to learn a new lesson. It feels like I'm paying for nothing right now ):

Is there anything I can do to change the frequency that I get drills added?

Thank you

Know someone who might be able to answer this question?

You can't change the frequency, however you CAN pause certain drill sets.  So, if you are far ahead in your studies and you really feel like you don't need to see the drills for certain lessons, you can pause them in your acount settings.

Note, this is a Premium feature and not available for Free users.  If you are premium, head over to https://www.nihongomaster.com/myaccount/drills to manage your drills.

I've found that answering 100 drills takes about 20 minutes. Perhaps a bit longer as you get into more complex territory. 20 minutes is about as long as a quick jog, or an episode of a TV show. This makes 650 drills take about 2 and a half hours. That's a decent museum tour, or a long movie.

Instead of trying to do 650 in a sitting or two, do 100 over the week. It won't seem so arduous, and you're likely to "learn better" than with big cram sessions.

This is a great response! Also, try out the mobile web version! If you are commuting, you can do your drills on go (unless you are driving)
