Losing points faster than gaining

I'm not sure how the point system works exactly.

But I've been noticing that even though I've been completing the drills successfully throughout the day, as soon as I get a recap drill in the Dojo, I lose roughly 20 points, but the drill will only grant me 1-5 points.

Is it this way to encourage you to learn something new everyday instead of recapping?

I have the same problem. I used to get between 50-100 exercises a day and now I only get 10-20 per day, which is not enough to maintain my points.

as you answer drills correctly repeatedly, they space out farther. But you shouldn't lose points until you have the drill to do again. I recommend checking your mastery setting and see if it is affecting your drills disappearing.

Mine is set as the default: Master Drills After Answering: 5 Times Correctly.

In our new system, a mastered drill will always be worth 25 points and you will never lose those points once you master it! You may be losing points, however, by answering a drill more slowly than the last time you did it.

Hope this answers your question!

I thought that I understood the point system but I still don't get why I lost like 800 points since I last logged in, and it was yesterday. Well, rankings doesn't matter to me, but I'm just curious about this.
