What happened to the 'Recent Activity' Feed?

The 'Recent Activity' feed is no longer visible on the front page of logged in users.

Will it be back or is this a permanent change?

 

This feature is very useful as it helped me find active friends who are studying at the same level and pace as me.

Great question!  We're actually revamping it to make it more useful.  What were some of the ways you used the activity feed?  We'd love your input!

Thanks Taylor for the prompt response! The activity feed helps me to discover peers who are also learning the same topics and levels as myself. This is where I start following other users and also comment on their profiles with questions on certain topics (would certainly be great if we can also have private messaging inboxes). It is also a great tool to help keep track of how many drills I have completed per day and whether I am falling behind or improving based on success rate percentage. :)

I loved it too. For me I liked seeing other people use the site. I liked seeing what lessons more advanced users were learning. And... after a long quiz, I liked to see my percentage correct on the front page, lol.

Also, JeForceX, I just noticed we are similar level, I'm a few lessons behind you. I took a break from lessons for about a week, just doing the daily drills everyday. I added you as a friend. :)

Which Activity Feed interested you the most? The Everyone feed? Did the feeds for your following or followers ever be valuable?
