Absolute Obedience!!

In this lesson, you'll be learning "the imperative form." You may not use this form unless you have a dog which understands Japanese (!) But it's good to know because you may hear this form in your favorite anime or drama.

Lesson Objectives

  • Learn how to make commands or orders with the imperative form and learn when to use this macho expression.
  • Learn how to form the imperative of ichidan, godan and irregular verbs.
  • Learn how to "re-tell" others' commands by using the expression ～て言っていた (～って言いました・言った).
