JLPT N4 practice test vs. mock test

People search for both a JLPT N4 practice test and a JLPT N4 mock test, and they want slightly different things. A full mock test recreates the real exam from end to end — every section, full length, strictly timed — so you can rehearse pacing and stamina for exam day. A practice test is the faster, repeatable way to find out where you actually stand right now.

Ours is a practice test by design: a focused set of 25 real N4 questions, scored the moment you finish, that you can retake as often as you like. Use it to set a baseline and see which areas are costing you marks — then close those gaps before you sit a full-length mock or the exam itself. Every question is drawn from the same vocabulary, kanji and grammar the JLPT N4 tests, so a low score here points straight at what to study next.

Upcoming JLPT Test Dates

The JLPT is held twice a year, in July and December. The next sitting is Sunday, December 6, 2026. Registration opens several months ahead and closes well before the exam.
