Review: The Nihongomaster.com Japanese program was entertaining. My sister and I enjoyed imagining the Japanese symbols were shapes and that helped us remember. Like Shi in Katakana looks like a smirking smiley face. And so forth. I can't say much of it stuck, except for the word "mother" in Hirigana which is the "ha ha". My sister got a kick out of that. Personally I think Katakana was easier than Hirigana but that is just me.
